About EXP Dance

EXP Dance is run and founded by Mary Frances Bates in the aim of making dance more accessible to all ages and abillites. Particular forms of dance are not always offered to everyone, therefore EXP Dance wanted to change this. Experienced in both performing and teaching, Mary aims to provide tutoring that is enjoyable and passionate. Mary is always expanding her knowledge of dance by participating in workshops and courses, this enables her to continuously provide fresh and up to date movement in EXP Dance classes. From a very young age Mary has always been focused on dance, starting at the age of 6, it was the Cathy Carroll Stage School that gave her the first taste of what she would later become a professional in. Since Graduating with a BA(hons) in Dance, Mary has taught, choreographed and performed for a number of prestigious and high profile clients, organisations and events, including the following:
